Who should install

OK if a new software package needs installed on a network
computer should you log in as the admin that setup the
system or as the restricted user?

In most cases you need to log in as an administrator to install
software. Depending on where shortcuts are placed during the
installation you may need to copy the start menu and desktop shortcuts
from the administrators profile to the All Users profile.
