white text on dark background

I like to use dark backgrounds for my slides
At the moment powerpoint insists on putting all text in black so I then have
to change the font colours to white. How can I set the default text for
charts so that I dont have to reset all text to white.

Also when I set text to white it then stays white when I print in black and
white resulting in white on white text which is not much help.

Advice please.

Thanks

This should get you started.
Create a default "blank" presentation with your own defaults

John,

Have a search either on google or within powerpoints help files... for how
to edit something called the "slide master"

on the slide master you can set up how you want the 'style' of your slides.

eg. white text and a dark background.

for "black and white" printing, you can choose to override the normal
'black' text.

see
Control how your presentation prints in B/W
