Putting white text on a dark colored photo in Powerpoint

Hello all!

I have a powerpoint slide background which was custom made for me from a
picture. I need to put lettering over a part of the picture that is darkly
colored, so I chose white from the font colors. On screen I can see white on
dark. But when I go to print view or print in black and white, the font
color goes to black and can't be read against the dark photo.

There is a neat little function in PowerPoint that addresses just this
problem.

Open your presentation.
Select the textbox where the printing color needs to be changed
Select View => Color/Grayscale
Select GrayScale
Click on the Setting pulldown and you will see many choices. Select one
that will contrast with the background. Note that this will not affect the
color when presenting, just the color in grayscale mode (printing to a black
and white printer).

When done, click on the Close Grayscale view button and save the
presentation.
Try printing it now.

Make sure on your printing preference it is not makred "All Text to Black"
