while httpmail in outlook 2003 - does not show replies

There appears to be a bug in Outlook 2003 using HTTPMail. When I reply to a
message in an account using HTTPMail, Outlook does not mark it as it was
replied to with the icon of the envelope with the arrow through it. So there
is no way to know if I already replied to a message.

Any ideas?

it's how it works. I don't know of any fixes - but the infobar should say
when you replied.

I am assuming the info bar is what shows the envelope and says if the message
has been opened and/or replied to.

This works fine for POP mails with no problemsi. I reply to a message, and
the evelope icon with an arrow through it. But if I do it on one of my
HTTPMail accounts, outlook does not show that it has been replied to.

Thanks

the infobar is a line of text on the message - both in preview and opened -
that tells you when you replied, forwarded, what the flag state is etc.

Diane,

The info bar seems to have the same problem.

through it. So there is no way to know if I already replied to a message.
The infobar does not show it either. It works fine with my pop account, but
for some reason with HTTPMail, it just doesn't register or show it.

I do not have this problem with Outlook Express. The problem I am describing
does not occur in Outlook Express, only in Outlook 2003.
