Outlook Express + Hotmail

Hi there

I use Outlook Express to access my Hotmail account. It all worked fine up
until a couple of days ago. Now I cannot send or receive hotmail email via
Outlook Express. Has this function/service been disabled by Microsoft? I can
hardly believe it, but then what things should I look for in my setup to try
to get it to work again?

For example, I get a message like this:

Der kan ikke undersøges, om der er nye meddelelser på din HTTP-server.
Konto: 'Hotmail', Server:
'http://services.msn.com/svcs/hotmail/httpmail.asp', Protokol: HTTPMail,
Port: 0, Sikker (SSL): Nej, Fejlnummer: 0x80040154

Which in English would be something like:

It is not possible to check if there are new messages on your HTTP server.
Account: 'Hotmail', Server:
'http://services.msn.com/svcs/hotmail/httpmail.asp', Protocol: HTTPMail,
Port: 0, Secure (SSL): No, Error number: 0x80040154

If those groups aren't carried on the news server that's carrying this group
try using msnews.microsoft.com (MS's public news server that's the source
for all the microsoft.public newsgroups). The links under the newsgroup
references are for use with MS's web newsreader (not exactly the best way to
post but it works for some people)

Post all replies to the group to keep the discussion intact. Due to
the (insert latest virus name here) virus, all mail sent to my personal
account will be deleted without reading.

I use outlook express to manage 8 different hotmail
accounts....works fine for me
