Which printer to buy ?

I think you can use black to print light gray if you use ditering.

Yup! a long set of tubes connected between the modified ink cartridges to
a set of bottles which hold ink. The bottles sit outside of the printer
right next to the printer. The below is one of few companies making CIS
(about 3-4 companies)

Their prices go up and down pretty often (few times a week or so), and I
got mine when it was $64

Thanks for the interesting info. It seems all CIS is for Epson printers. Is
it ?

You can check the CIS for Canon there too. Just check the MENU and pick
whatever you want to see
