Which older version of Adobe Flash plugin did NOT support overlay adds?

Hi does someone know from which version on
Adobe Flash plugin began to support overlay adds?

I would like to revert to the previous version ;-)

If you mean that thing where overlapping shapes in single layer do not
subtract from each previous one, it is in IDE and not relevant to
plugin. I think it started in MX 2004. Any way, in flash 8 you have
one-click option to turn it off.
