Which is the best Spam stopper ???

Hello all,

I've had it with spam !!!! I receive way to much each day and it has to
stop. I don't have an anti-spam program and it's time I get one. I use
Office XP (Outlook 2002) on my PC running XP Home. I use this for my home
office PC and the spam is really taking a toll on my incoming emails. I have
to delete so many and every once in a while I'll accidentally delete a
"real" email.

So that's why I've come here. To ask you guys and gals (the experts) for the
best utility to stop Spam. Budget is a concern, but stopping the spam is a
bigger concern. If there's anything out there cheap that will do the
trick...great. If not, I'm willing to do what it takes at this point.

Thanks in advance for any and all advice on the best "Spam Stopper".

You have plenty of replies in m.p.outlook .....

....if you need to post to multiple groups, it's best to do so all at once in
a single message (separate the NG names with commas) so that everyone can
follow the thread. Thanks :)

Crossposting = posting once to several newsgroups within a single message.
This is not a Bad Thing (presuming the list of groups posted to is small,
and all the groups are truly relevant to your question)

Multiposting = posting separate, identical posts to several newsgroups. This
is a Bad Thing.

I'm not inclined to whack people over the head with a baseball bat for what
is obviously an honest mistake! :)

I use a combonation of Spampal and Spambayes. They seem to do a very
good job at keeping spam from my inbox.
