??Which files??

I have run Adware, Mcafee Antispyware on my computer.
My question is: Both report common and different files as
SPYWARE, which files are safe to delete? Some of the
files are registry files. I don't like deleting registry
file unless I know it is safe. Any suggestions on how to
handle this would be greatly appreciated. I know you are
going to ask for specific file names, but I am just
getting a feel for what to do before I list the files
(lazy). Thank you.

Forget Mcafee, just run "AdAware" & "Spybot Search and Destroy" like most
others are doing (make sure you get the latest updates for both after
installing).
You already have the first, get the second from-

Both these progs are non-volatile & accurate & both store any removed files
for restoring at a later stage.
