wheres the sound?

i updated windows xp and afterwards there was no sound.
device manager says its working with no conflicts but
when i go to the volume control it says there is no
device connected. how do i fix this?

try to remove all sound devices installed on your
system.. and let the windows find them.
if won't work u have to find out what kind of sound card
u have installed and model... to download the driver for
xp from the owner site
