Where's the greeting card program?

S

Sheri Emerson

I am almost computer illiterate, but on my old packard
bell, I had a greeting card program that I could insert a
cd and make any kind of card I wanted to. For the life
of me, I cannot find a program like that on my new
computer. Also, compared to my old computer, there are
very little graphics, and the ones that are on here are
poor, at best. Is Dell just chintzyer than packard bell,
or do I just not know what I am looking for?

None of those type programs are included in Windows. You will need to find
the programs you wish to use a copy purchase a copy of them.

What "very little graphics" do you refer to?
The 3-D effects in XP are far better then the 'flat'
win95/98 stuff. I don't know about winME/2000.
In XP you still have custom icons and cursors etc.

Every computer vendor bundles different software with the systems they sell.
Why not just uninstall the greeting card program from your PB and install it
on your Dell?

I don't speak for Smiths, and Smiths doesn't speak for me.

Greetings --

You'll apparently need to purchase and install some sort of
greeting card application. Such capabilities are not a function of
the operating system.

Greetings --

One possible reason may be because doing so would violate the
applications OEM EULA, and the OP isn't interested in software piracy.
