Where to sell my software

Hi everyone, I have developed some software which I would like to sell
online. Can anyone please give me some pointers about the best way to
do things? Specifically websites which would sell on my behalf (Ebay,
Download.com). Things to avoid etc? Thanks in advance Markus

I think your best bet is to either:

A) Make a trial version of your software, or

B) Make your software so it has limitations until a registration key is
entered, which should be keyed of the user's name.

Then submit the unregistered or trial version to shareware sites, such as
those listed at http://www.9pservice.com/advanced.htm.

The downside to this approach is that you'll need to have a way to accept
payment on your site.

The alternative is to sign up with one of the many Shareware resellers such
as RegNow.
