Where to find on HDD or Download Media Center app?

I bought my PC in Germany whilst serving with the forces, and it came with XP
Media Center Edition Version 2002. The PC (if this matters) is built by
Fujitsu Siemens.

It came with a remote and IR receiver, which until today I thought I had
lost. I've plugged it back in today, it seems to have been recognised no
problems, allows me to change the master volume etc.

There is a Green button in the middle of the remote which I used to press
and bring up my Media Center application, which looked like a german version
of this image:

Now when I press the button it does nothing, as with most of the other
related buttons.

I can not find this application in C:\Programme or in the Start Menu, so I'm
wondering if I've uninstalled it at some point?

I can't find a rescue disk which came with the PC, and try as I might, I
can't find anything useful on microsoft.com to point me in the right
direction, or allow me to download the app to install it again... It
probably doesn't help that I don't speak German and despite knowing XP fairly
well, I don't understand all the menu's.

(I once asked somewhere if it was possible to change the OS language to
English, and was told I couldn't... can I confirm while I'm here that this is
true? I have an English Vista installed on a second partition which I can
use if needs be, but would love this OS to change to English instead of
having to try and learn Deutsch again)

Can someone point me in the right direction please? Would be greatly
appreciated.
