Where is version 8?

I was told by PayPal that their Plugin feature wasn't working because it's
not compatible with the latest XP, and that I need to download version 8 of
XP. I currently have XP version 8.0.6001.18702. So I searched the Windows
XP site for "download version 8", but didn't find anything. Can anyone send
me the address of the webpage that has a download for version 8?

I currently have XP version 8.0.6001.18702.

You've already got the latest version of *Internet Explorer* (IE8)
installed, Eli, so either PayPal's blowing smoke up your kilt or one or more
of your other Add-ons (plug-ins) is interfering.

If you need more assistance, please begin a new thread in IE General
newsgroup: microsoft.public.internetexplorer.general

I believe they are referring to internet explorer version 8, not windows xp
version 8

According to their site "You can install the PayPal Plug-In on your PC
Windows-based system. The plug-in is compatible with Windows operating
systems (Windows 2000, XP, or Vista) and Internet Explorer and Firefox
browsers (IE 6, 7, FF 2, 3) . Mac users do not need to install the plug-in
and will only have access to the Secure Cards feature. "

No mention of version 8 anywhere.

Maybe what PayPal meant was that it's NOT compatible with IE8.
