In Win98 there was an Applications Data Folder under the Windows dir, where
do I find such data in XP ?
I have data backed up from Win98 I'd like to add so I don't have to do all
the entering again in the various applications.

It's under (drive):\Documents and Settings\(username)

For instance c:\Documents and Settings\Fred\Application Data. It *is* a
hidden folder.

You can also find it under All Users.

It is a hidden folder under C:\Documents and
Settings\****** ********=users name

In XP, all of the personal folders are kept in each users folders.
All of the data folder in XP are in the C:\Documents and Settings\<user
name>\

Hi Fred,

It is a hidden folder. Go to Windows Explorer/Tools/Folder
Options/View/Show Hidden File and Uncheck Hide Protected Operating System
Files.

In XP it is part of each user's own section under C:\Documents and
Settings - each user having an entirely separate place to store system
settings and data, not a single communal one
