Where is Help For Media Player

M

Mike Fox

I'm running XP Pro w SP2 and also downloaded and installed Win
MediaPlayer 10.00.00.3646. When I try to play a streaming radio
station, an error window pops up: Vbal Edit Run-time error 429.
Active X component can't create object.

Didn't have this problem with Win MediaPlayer 9. Can't find a way to
uninstall 10, and there's no updates to 10. I'm running the latest
version.

Is there a place to go to find out how to fix this?

Thanks

Mike

Use system restore to remove WMP 10. When you installed WMP 10 it
should have set a restore point and unless you have restore turned off
it should work.
