where in XP pro does XP hold a copy of a jpg that you have
elected to use as wallpaper.

I deleted a jpg I need from the my pictures sub directory
some time back, but I need it now. The picture still
resides as my desktop wallpaper. How do I find it and get
it back into a jpg?

Try looking in C:\Program Files\Internet Explorer of the
User Account that you used to save the JPG as Wallpaper
(if you select a picture and right-click "Set As
Background.")

If you want to know where you should save JPGs that you
want to keep as permanent Windows Wallpaper right-click on
a JPG and save it to the default Windows Wallpaper
directory whic is: C:\Windows\Web\Wallpaper (that's how I
do it.)
