In "Devise Manager" go to "sound, video, and game controller" there will me
a listing for video and audio codecs, amoung other things. Right click and
select properties and your codecs will be listed. If you want to add
codecs, I believe you can go to hardware install select the devise and
select a codec to install from the list of plug n play devices. Someone else
could probably give you a getter description of that process. You can always
do a google search and download the neccessary codec if you know the name.
Good luck!

Download a free program called (don't blame me, I don't name these things)
GSpot from http://www.headbands.com/gspot/

Not only will it enumerate your codecs, it can also be used to find out what
codecs you are missing for any type of media file.
