Just got the new version of Excel (2010) and I opened an older version
document. The older version of the document had nine different sheets. Now
I can't find the other eight. Any suggestions?

Presuming you mean Excel 2007? The tabs are at the bottom in 07 just as in 03.

Office button (large round one, top left)>Excel Options>Advanced tab>section
Display options for this workbook> check Show Sheet tabs

Is that same instruction for Excel 2010?

Why does OP have one sheet tab showing and other 8 tabs not visible?

Indeed, my fault! I saw "new version" and I assumed that was Excel 2007. Too
much in a hurry, I know, I shouldn't be.

Well in Excel it is a rectangular button, but the rest of the instructions
remain valid.

"Sheet" and "Tab" are often used in the same sense so I assumed the OP meant
he saw only one sheet and no other tabs.
Of course I could be wrong there.

That's what this is all about.

OP had 9 sheet tabs visible in older version.

In 2010 version only one sheet tab is visible.

Hope a 2010 user will pop in and explain.

I am an Excel 2010 user, but apart from the Office button being rectangular
instead of round, there is no difference compared to Excel 2007. I never
missed a sheet (or tab)

Thanks Niek

Now........where have the other sheet tabs gone?
