Where are the emails stored?

Hi, I just had a huge problem with my computer and I may
loose all my emails from Outlook. I need to know where is
it that the emails are stored in the computer, so I can
copy them to a disk. I may need to format my computer and
I don't want to loose all my mail. I can't even open
Outlook. I'll appreciate any help.

Is Outlook your only trouble on your computer? What error does it give you?

Anyway; make sure you include hidden and system files and folders when
searching for pst-file.

By default it is located in
C:\Documents and Settings\%username%\Local Settings\Application
Data\Microsoft\Outlook\

You can also locate the file by using
Rightclick the root folder (probably Outlook Today)-> Properties-> button
Advanced-> field Filename
