Where are Offline Folders Stored?

This was a question presented to me from a user. User
asked since he has files and folders he takes offline. He
wanted to know exactly where on the local pc they are
stored.
I apologize if this seems to be a waste of time question.
But, Although I am not knew to the buisness. I have never
had a question nor reason to use the offline folders.
Any assitance or documentation would be appreciated.

There is a hidden/system directory named CSC (for Client Side Cache) that
contains the files and exists in the root of %systemdrive%, IIRC. You will
not see this directory in Windows Explorer unless you show hidden AND system
directories.
