Where are my fonts??

I installed MS Office 2003 on a new laptop, created a document with French
Script font and Engravers MT font. Then, I had to return that laptop and get
a different one. Installed MS Office 2003 again on new laptop, but these 2
fonts that I used are not available on my font list! I uninstalled, then
reinstalled, but nothing. What do I need to do? The font list on
microsoft.com says these fonts should be on MS Office 2003. Thanks in
advance for anyone's help!

Hi Susan,

In Add/Remove Programs in the Windows control panel
bring up the [Change] option for your Microsoft Office 2003
package and check in the feature list to see if you've set
the 'Additional Fonts' option under
Office Shared Features' to 'run from my computer' state.

Okay, I tried to follow your directions, but it appears that I do not have an
"Additional Fonts" option.... These are the exact steps I am taking: go to
"Control Panel," click on "Add or Remove Programs," click on Microsoft Office
Standard Edition 2003," click on "Change," click on "Add or Remove Features"
button, then click "next," then check the box "Choose advanced customization
of applications," then click on "Update." Then, I get a box that has in bold
above it, "Choose update options for applications and tools." I clicked on
the "+" next to "Office Shared Features," but I do not have "Additional
fonts" option under it. I searched through all the features on the lists, but
I can't find anything relating to fonts. I tried it a few times, restarted,
and tried again. Anything else I should try? Thanks for the assistance!

Hi Susan,

It appears that the additional fonts may only be available
in Office 2003 Small Business Edition and
Office 2003 Professional Edition, the editions that include
MS Office Publisher 2003.

The font list on http://microsoft.com/typography/fonts/
for Office 2003 is the Professional Edition list.

Ah ha! You know, I betcha that the computer I created the document on, had a
trial of the Business Editionor Prof. Edition on it; it had a trial of MS
Office, and I'm thinking it was one of those. I have the Student/Teacher
Edition that I purchased.

Thanks so much!! Sorry to be so clueless-- at least I learned a lot about
fonts!
