How do I attach font file to an email?

My vendor has requested that I attach the font file with the text in my
e-mail. I do not know how to attach a font file. Can anyone help me? I have
MS Office Word 2003.

That's a very unusual request. Depending on what copyright provisions are in
force for the font, sending the font file might even be illegal. If you can
determine that the font file is in the public domain, you can find the file
in the folder C:\Windows\Fonts and attach it to an email like any other
file.

Maybe the vendor meant for you to "embed" the font in a Word document that
uses that font to format some text. Depending on what the owner of the font
copyright has allowed, you may be able to do that. Go to Tools > Options >
Save, and check the box for "Embed TrueType fonts". Save the document. Then
go back to the Options dialog and uncheck the box -- you don't want fonts
embedded in all your documents, because it makes the document files
unnecessarily large.

Before you do either of these things, check with the vendor to make sure you
both understand what's expected and why.
