When you place an icon in the corner of the screen where is that iconplacement information stored in

I am not talking about Desktop, I know where that is saved, I mean
icon placements inside individual folders, not Desktop, where are
those saved inside the registry?
 
My question was about custom saving exact positions of icons on screen
in individual folders (not just WinXP desktop).


Paul, the scripts do seem interesting though, can you please link or
tell me what exactly they do as I can't tell by their titles. Thanks!
 
Thank you, and I'm sorry but what are the benefits of increasing the
icon cache, is this about not having to reload the icon images every
time a folder with large number of them is accessed, or is it about
something else?
