When we try to open a file, open's Excel without worksheets

Dear all,

Does anybody knows how to solve this question?

When I try to open a exesting Excel workbook it open's Excel without any
worksheets.

I tryed to repair the MS-Office 2003 from the original CD and I tryed to
Reinstall MS-Office 2003 and it does not works.

Does anybody can help me?

It sounds as if you are trying to open an Excel file by clicking on its name
in Explorer? If this is the case, then in Excel click on Tools, Options,
select the General tab, and untick the option "Ignore other applications"

If you now exit Excel, and double click on a filename, it will open
