when trying to install Vista, DVD doesn't start the install proces

After burning Vista 32 bit onto a DVD, I reinsert the DVD into my laptop
(I.E. 7). The disc starts to rotate for about 30 seconds and then stops. I
can't start the install process from the run menu either. Nothing show s up
under programs. Under "All Files" I see
"D:\vista_5384.4.060518-1455_winmain_beta2_x86fre_client-LB2CFRE_EN_DVD.iso".
What is the proble and what do I do to install Vista?

You need to burn the ISO using a program like Nero or Roxio. The ISO is an
image file. Nero or Roxio decontructs the file system and rebuilds it onto a
DVD, giving you all the files within the ISO and making the DVD bootable.
