When select Switch User in XP Pro(SP2), system reboot.

When select Switch User in XP Pro(SP2), system reboot.

It even doesn't logout the current user but starts the computer immediately
like we press the start button on the computer case.

After reboot, the system shows the dialog window and says there was an
error occured.

Any help is appreciated.
 
You should boot in safe mode and try to see how it runs then. You can Start
| Run msconfig {enter} and disable the programs you do not need to start to
see if one of them is causing an issue switching over.
