when minimized how to close it on task bar

when I minimize outlook it stays on taskbar and the icon is shown also....
all I want is the icon to reopen outlook
 
never mind I figured it out when I right clicked on the icon I chose hide
when minimized
 
never mind I figured it out by right clicking on icon and checking Hide
when minimized
