when I send email, it stays in outbox and keeps resending, help!!

Does any one have a cure for repeating emails. It is embarrassing. I must
have a bug o something. For the last week when I send an email from
outlook2002, the message stays in the out box and keeps resending itself over
and over. Even when I delete it from the out box it keeps resending. And it
does not appear in the sent file. Need Help!!!
