Messages get stuck in my Outbox

Every few days I find one or more sent emails stuck in my Outbox. Often I
can get them sent by openning them and resending using a different account.
Sometimes I have to delete them and recreate & send a new msg to get the msg
to go out.

I'm using Outlook 2007 on Win XP Pro. I receive and send email via six
different email accounts.

Disable the superfluous e-mail scanning in your anti-virus program. This
may not be sufficient since some AV programs still have e-mail traffic go
through their transparent proxy (but just don't interrogate that traffic
when e-mail scanning is disabled). You may have to uninstall your AV
program and then do a custom install where you elect to NOT include their
e-mail scanner component.
