When I save attachments, it saves them double spaced

I understand how to save attachments, but when I go to save them - for
example saving 2 drawings to my desktop - it will save each drawing with a
space inbetween them.

Any suggestions on how to change this?

I also have a problem with Word. When I open a "Blank / New Document" It
starts out Double Spaced. I have to go in and change it.

Any ideas / suggestions?

What exactly are you doing and in which application?
Are you saving your drawings in Word instead of leaving them in their
picture format? (png, jpg, gif, bmp, etc...)
In that case it would be a Word question and not an Outlook question.
Anyway, ENTER creates a new paragraph and SHIFT+ENTER creates a line break.
How it eventually appears on the screen depends on the formatting style that
you have selected. You can find more about this in the Help of your version
of Word or ask in a Word newsgroup.
