when I open outlook word opens in a second window

When I open outlook 2007 Word opens a second window. When I close that
window the reading pane closes the E-mail that was displayed in it. When I
open an E-mail either to view it or to composre a new on a second, third and
fourth window opens in corrispondence with that action. This continues
happening every time i work with Word as the editor. unfortunately I cant
shut that of in 07'. Also, If I click replly on the main outlook screen
without opening the message first, I am unable to send that message. i hit
send an litterally nothing happens. The program does not freeze, it just
does nothing. If anyoe has any idea how to remedie these issues a little
help would be greatly appreciated.

Are you perhaps in a multi-monitor setup with a Matrox videocard? In that
case you'll need to update your video card driver.

I am ! Bu I beleive that I have the newest drive they have released. Is
their another resource for a newer driver?

Don't know but it is a known issue with their driver (I'm not THAT good in
guessing ;-). Sometimes they release a driver with these issues and
sometimes they don't. You could contact Matrox directly on this and see if
they have a permanent fix.

I lied, I found a newer Driver and it fixed my problem. Thanks for being so
