When I open Outlook (Office 2000) I get a "The Operation Failed" .

When I open Outlook (Office 2000) I get a "The Operation Failed" popup
I clcik OK and Outlook quits. Anybody know what is wrong. I tried creating a
new outlook.pst file thinking that something was corupt with it. It created
the new file and then I got the same popup.
I also tried removing and reinstalling outlook.
