The Operation Failed error when opening Outlook

S

Sheldy

Hey,
I have a user who when opening Outlook 2003 will get an balloon popping up
stating 'Microsoft Office Outlook (then below it) The Operation Failed'. The
only thing we can notice different is that Reminders don't pop up... so could
it be a corrupt reminder? We're not using Exchange Server... We've tried a
detect and repair and that didn't help. Any suggestions would be much
appreciated!

Try closing outlook and reopening with the /cleanreminders switch (See
http://www.outlook-tips.net/beginner/switches.htm for help using switches)

The /resetnavpane switch might help too, if cleanreminders doesn't.
