When I minimise my programs, I cannot see them on taskbar

I am having a problem with my taskbar. When I minimise my programs, they
don't appear on the taskbar, so at the moment I am using Alt+Tab or
TaskManager to switch between programs, which is little bit annoying.

I had a hard time trying to diagnose the problem, once i installed the
application every thing started to work just fine. You made my day.

I have been on the edge of a nervous breakdown over the same problem ! one
simple tweak and the taskbar is working again - its a miracle (to me anyway)
