When I add a song to the slideshow...

.... i can't make the show to start!
I added the song to the first slide to start automaticaly, and set the
transitions (random) to be of every 3 secs applying to all slides.
When I click play, the song starts the first slide appears but it gets stuck
there with the music playing...
Please help!
I want the song to play through the slides...

In your animation settings select: Effect Options > Stop Playing After
(insert number of slides).

Also, if you have animations on any of the slides, they must be set to play
With Previous and adjusting their animations entry times by using the
Advanced Timeline.

I've tried inserting the number of slides before but it didn't work...
I don't have animations on the slides though so I don't know if this is
going to solve..

Not having animations will not affect things! The slide will wait for the
music to finish before moving on UNLESS you do as Sandy says. Theres a lot
