Inserted sound trouble - Powerpoint 2003

I am working on a presentation as a welcome for training pupils. The
slideshow is only about nine slides. I need for it to play continuously with
the song that's inserted. What happens is, the slide show loops, right and
the music continue, right, but the music starts from the beginning each time
the show starts from the beginning, not right.

Please help I have tried everything I can think of. Just want the song to
finish before starting again.

You will probably have to increase the transition time between slides to
equal the length of the soundtrack. That way when the music ends the
slideshow should loop
