when ever I try to save any download from www it saves as html pag

Hi,
I have standalone system with dual bootable system, with win98 second
edition on c: drive and windows server2000 on D: drive. When ever I surf
Internet and try to download any worddocument to my system it saves as html
file rather than Doc. I have Internet Explorer version 6.0.2800 update
version sp1. What should be done to save respective file formats to be saved
accordingly as per their formats.

Hi there,

Try right-clicking on the link to the Word doc, then choose "Save As."
