when email arrives it disappears before I can open it Why?

This happens in Outlook when I receive Emails.


Note:I can send Email but I can't open the message because the title
disappears before I can do so.Needless to say I loose my messages.
So until I find a solution I will use the Std.Outlook Express.No problems
there.

Any comments to resolve this issue would be greatly appreciated.

Check your View menu and make sure you aren't using the Unread Messages view
or any other view that filters only unread messages.

What rules do you have defined? Could be you have a rule that moves or
[permanently] deletes the incoming message(s).
