Wheel mouse driver?

The wheel on my Logitech USB wheel mouse isn't working. Any ideas?

I tried installing Logitech Mouseware, but that created the conflict
from Hell. It also didn't get a wheel response.

Did you uninstall the current Logitech Mouseware before installing the newer
version?

It may be the mouse itself that is faulty..... I'd contact Logitech and
check the guarantee status.
