Sounds like something that happened to me when IE 6 was
hijacked by a web site.
Look for a flash media file in you "desktop" folder. I
forget what the file extension is, mybe *.swf.
If you can find out what put it there then a web search
might help to find out how to remove any other unwanted
stuff you might have.
