What's in my Sony Vaio VGC-RB53's slot?

I bought a Sony Vaio VGC-RB53 (Google 'sonystyle vgc rb53' for the
specifications) as part of a bundle at Fry's for a good price the day
after Thanksgiving. I hope to turn it into a self-contained HDTV
MythTV frontend/backend.

I haven't opened it yet in case I want to return it, and have one
question about its internals. The Web site says that one of its two
PCI slots is occupied, but I don't know with what. It can't be a video
card since it uses an Intel GMA 900 video chipset. I ask because I'm
going to need at least two PCI slots for video-input cards (a HDTV
card and a Hauppauge PVR-350). Ideas?

modem? usually if a pci slot is used you should have a clue to what it is by
looking at the back plate.

Just got off the phone with Sony, which says that it's a modem
card. This is good news as I don't need a modem but do need two empty
PCI slots.
