what's happening?

ok here's my problem... for some reason i can't open ANY
folders or even internet explorer. when i try all of my
desktop items disappear for a second and nothing else
happens. my norton doesn't detect anything and everything
works fine in safe mode. if you have any info please let
me know (e-mail address removed)

Why do I have to find this out from some amatuer bulletin board when Dell's and Microsoft have thousands of dollars of my moeny and their "Fanatical Support" couldn't care less

Maybe if you lose the attitude you might get somewhere. The advice you
receive here is free and you will find that most people who reply are
qualified professionals giving up their own time. I doubt that the
'thousands of dollars' you talk about are your own but rather the company
you work for! If you wish to have a support structure at your beckon call
to tell you how to do your job, I suggest you pay for it out of your 'own'
pocket.
