Irrelevant to your original.

Its perfectly possible to secure it adequately.

Heaps of stuff.

Most obviously the system restore which makes life a hell of
a lot easier when things go pear shaped with an install etc.

Much better support for dinosaur apps that dont like 2K.

The files and settings transfer wizard makes migration much more convenient.

Much more flexible user interface.

Lots of basic fixes done rather better than they are done in 2K.

Much better automatic support for the new
stuff that appear as disk drives on usb etc.

Much better automatic support for stuff like ipods, satnavs etc,
they just load the appropriate app when you plug them in etc.

Etc etc etc.

You clearly need to 'think' harder.

The wireless wizard that came with XP SP2 leaves even
the wireless support in XP SP1 for dead for starters.

You need new glasses bad. Most obviously with the system restore.

It aint just games where XP leaves 2K for dead in that regard.

Neither does the corp versions of XP either or
what comes supplied with most new systems.

When have I bought or wanted any of this stuff? It's a COMPUTER!

What part of 'A WPA key can be made good enough to
make cracking it unfeasible' are you having difficulty with ?

You wont be cracking my WPA network, not a shred of rocket science required at all.

You have always been, and always will be, completely and utterly
irrelevant. What you might or might not have bought or wanted in spades.
It's a COMPUTER!

Some of us prefer to have our COMPUTERS do things
with a minimum of effort, particularly the stuff we dont do
every day. In spades with the stuff we do every day too.

You prefer to cripple along on yours ? Your problem, as always.

Go wipe before it's too much and makes you vomit, child. I started on
MICROcomputers before the sperm and egg gave you an attitude. Try 1979,
and behave please.

Thank you. I'm all of forty, and wouldn't have fathered you anyway, so
dismiss the thought.

Guess which pathetic little prat has just made VERY spectacular
fool of itself. Try decades before that thanks, child.

A mere child. I'm old enough to be your father thanks.
and wouldn't have fathered you anyway,

Yeah, we know about your impotence.
so dismiss the thought.

I dismiss silly little posturing children instead thanks.

You do that.

Means you're about dead too.

At least you won't be a jerk at that time

Meanwhile make more sense. It sounds like a boys' club occasionally and
not very helpful.

It's nicer to learn something than listen to four people snipe each
other.

Never said it is feasable, just saying it is doable. :)
