WHAT THE???? Cannot see my network

Just purchased a new home PC with XP Media Center. I am unable to see my
other devices in the workgroup.

From my laptop and secondary PC, I can still see each other, but cannot see
the new primary from either. Sharing is on and the Norton firewall seems to
be working just fine. I've looked in the KB and attempted the network wizard
but recieve the error that I (an administrator account) may not have access
to the workgroup...

Can anyone please help me out?

When you ran the wizard, did you make sure any firewalls on all machines
were turned off? Also, during the wizard, you are asked how this system
connects to the Internet. An incorrect answer can result in the problem you
describe. Many networks are connected through a hub or switch and users
assume "Hub" is the correct answer. Usually, "Gateway" is the correct
answer and resolves this issue.

Good call! Disabled Norton and re-ran wizard and chose second option and
rebooted.

Now seeing all devices.
