What setting for printing?

Hi.

With Canon printers (mine is ip4000), what media type do you select for
printing on Costco Kirkland photo papers
Since Kirkland papers are glossy, I would like to choose Photo Paper Plus
Glossy. What is your suggestion? Craig

the best results can be obtained using canon photo paper pro when using
oem ink. if you do not use oem ink you cannot obtain best results.

I've used Glossy Photo Paper. Some people use Photo paper pro. Also
depends on which program are you printing from. The Canon easy print
program overrides several of the settings you might wish to use in the
printer software. I set the color setting to manual, uncheck all the
effects such as sharpening, etc, and print out of photoshop elements. When
I first bought my i960 printer I printed the same photo with several
different settings to see which I liked best. The Costco paper is cheap
enough that you can print lots of test prints without concern over cost. I
also refill my carts with MIS inks to reduce the cost of each cart to about
$1. Also good reports from users of Formulabs and Hobbicolors bulk inks.
Don't let the troll sway you with his misinformation about refilling with
aftermarket inks as he has never used them.

also refill my carts with MIS inks

I don't think Costco carries MIS inks any more.
I see INK refill kits in Costco.

Don't be confused by the "IMS" refill kits that Costco carries. This
product is sold as a universal ink for several printers, including Canon and
Epson. Different head technologies require different inks. I buy MIS ink
from
www.inksupply.com . Their inks are formulated for specific printer brands
and models. I buy the inks for refilling bci-6 and bci-3ebk carts for my
i960 and ip5000 printers. Excellent product and easy to refill.
