Hi everybody:
I have one clean Sandisk cf card on which I execueted bootprep.exe.As you
know, the monitor will appear such a string "Ntldr is missing" after the cf
card boot. Then I copy ntldr to it and reboot, but it's very strange that
everthing stop except a cursor on the top-left screen.
I try to use the cf card to boot another machine which has not the same
hardware environment. Absolutely it will break down ,a blue screen
appears, but it obviously pass the ntldr phase.
The question is why I cannot go through the ntldr phase on the former
machine.

Any help would be appreciated in advance
Best regards

Leo Peng,

Why do you think it hangs on ntldr phase? Try setting non-zero value for
timeout option in boot.ini file to see if it gets to ntldr.
Playing with boo.ini switches may also help to narrow down the problem
(/SOS, etc.).
