What popup blocker does this?

Hi

Does anyone know of a popup blocker that notifies you it has stopped a
popup in IE by briefly displaying a kind of yellow splodge with a red
exclamation mark on the mouse pointer? It also plays a sound effect,
which sounds just like the empty recycle bin sound effect in Windows XP.

I need to identify this program.

TIA

Change the icon in the program file folder.
I'm not trying to change the icon of my popup blocker.

I'm trying to find out which program exhibits the behaviour I described.

What do you not recognize in your Add/Remove Programs control panel?
Google Toolbar (any toolbars?) installed?

This is part of the problem - it's not my computer. I'm logging in
remotely over an excruciatingly slow connection to a machine where all
the text is in German (which I don't speak). There are lots of toolbars
and a huge number of installed programs, including lots of adware. This
person is using IE to access an online app provided by my company but
when the app tries to open popups in the browser, they are being stopped
dead by the blocker I described. I've searched and search but I can't
find the settings for this thing, or even what it is. I've disabled the
IE/Googlebar popup blockers, added the site to the Trusted Zone, ran
Ad-aware all to no avail.

They are going to have to bring the machine in and/or clean it themselves.
My guess is that it probably is spyware/adware still hanging on.

Install Firefox and let them use that. heh
