I am unable to install Picture It and Adobe Photo
Is this a problem only I have? if so what is the fix?

I run Corel PaintShop Pro X and it is working fine, except that it is not
Aero compatible.

==============================
I have no info on Adobe Photo but maybe
the following will ofer some ideas about
Picture It!.

I successfully installed my MS Picture It!/
MS Digital Image programs on my Vista
partition.

The versions that function correctly are:
PI99, PI2000, DIS9, DIS10, DIS2006,
and the DIS 2006 Anniversary Edition.

PIPP2001, PIPP2002 and DIP7 will
install but will not run. At least...they will not
run on my machine.

FWIW...I've seen reports that some users
have issues when running DIS10 on Vista.

Requirements
The GIMP should run on Windows 98/ME/NT4/2000/XP. It is recommended to use
an NT-based version of Windows (NT4, 2000 or XP). Starting with GIMP 2.2 and
GTK+ 2.4, older versions such as Windows 95 are not supported anymore. The
amount of memory can be an important factor, especially if you intend to
work on large images. A minimum of 128 MB of RAM is recommended, but the
more RAM the better.

**********NOTICE:**********

Please note that this lame program *should* run on Windows
98/ME/NT4/2000/XP. Why don't they say it WILL run on Windows
98/ME/NT4/2000/XP?????

Also note the decided lack of any mention of Vista.

Sorry Ray!

One nice thing about GIMP - it will only take a few minutes and not a
bloody cent to find out.

I have Google Picasa running on Vista here. It does exactly what -I- need
from a photo organizing program.

I have PSP 9 on my Vista system, it seems to work fine.
It's owned by Corel now, formerly JASC.
I don't use it often enough to justify buying the upgrade, but it works fine
to edit photos, seems to work fine with my scanner & printer.
The HP 1440 all in one anyway, the old PSC 750 won't work with Vista.
I haven't found a PCI adapter for my old HP 5p scanner and since no one
builds boards with ISA slots anymore, the SCSI adapter that came with it is
unuseable. I doubt Vista would have a driver for the dinosaur anyway...as I
remember, I had to use the NT4 driver to make it work in XP.

I have PSP 7.04 running but had to run as admistrator and compatibility mode
set to xp with sp2. Seems to work fine.
