Hi,
I'm having some hardware trouble, but I'm not sure what causes it.
When "it" happens, my computers powers on & off in about 3 seconds - not even time to boot anything.
I also found that when "it" happens while I'm in Windows XP, Windows closes all running programs automatically and logs off clean,
like a normal shut down. I can verify this by examining the Event Log File, because it had an entry that the Log File service was
stopped.
I thought the "it" problem is the power inside the computer, but after seeing Windows shutting down in a normal way, I don't believe
this anymore.
So there must be something in the hardware that makes Windows shut down.
The question is what causes this shut down?
any advice?
